Noticed when getting a new card there is no in app verification, that means anyone with the card can call the phone number, input the card number and make a pin then use the card as their own.
There should be a way to verify that the card is yours in app, or perhaps a code emailed or texted to verify.
The security regarding activating a new card is subpar at best.

With the increased circulation of scams aiming to get your card information, I feel it may be handy to have the option to approve/confirm/authenticate large online purchases where the account holder can set the limit in which they would have to manually authorize the purchase in the app. This way, if someone’s card information is obtained and unlawfully used in attempt to make large purchases, the account holder can decline to pay the vendor, making use of the card useless for the attempted scammer since they won’t be able to attempt to make a large purchase without authorization. This feature should include the amount and the vendor. If possible, the location from where it was attempted to be purchased could also be beneficial in the fight against scams.

Transaction bypassed the card.

Chefs Plate and HelloFresh bypass the card and goes straight to the entity.
I had a transaction go through on my account that had the wrong card on file and it still went through.
The KOHO team wants me to lock and request a new card even though the card information is different than that I have.
